We are updating our recurring invoice system and we want to change the Invoice ID numbers to our already saved client invoices. When I go to edit the invoice, the section of the Invoice ID is grayed out and I can't click inside of it to update. Is there any way to change the Invoice ID without having to delete these invoices?
@SixArtemis I ran into this issue, and I couldn't edit the invoice ID number once I sent the invoice (custom invoice id). What I did was duplicate the invoice, change the id and sent it and cancelled the original invoice and let the customer know. This saved a ton of time not having to re-enter everything.
