Can't find items in reports from several years ago

I'm doing a trade show that I haven't done for several years. I was trying to see what items/categories sold at that show in 2019, but when i go to Reports, I can only get a summary of gross sales for that entire year, can't filter it for just that show/weekend, nor get it to display what items/categories sold that weekend. IE, all the detail data seems to be gone. Where is it???

As I see this is your First post let me welcome you to the Square Seller forum.

As for your issue, I would recommend going to your Dashboard > Reports > Items and then choose the Year in question.  You will not see a Month day etc filter for that far back.  Then once that all populates in the upper Right corner there is an Export Button where you can export this as a Summary or as a Detail .csv file.  While you are here I recommend downloading BOTH now.  Then after they are downloaded and you can view them you can see which is the most beneficial to you.  In the Csv files you can sort alot better using Excel or Google Sheets.  I actual use Excel for doing this to see what my sales for a Particular Day were back in 2019 for example.  I also did the above to see which were my best selling items for a time frame, Seasonally or yearly.

thanks- I've exported the CSVs before, will try it.  Ordinarily I save pdf's of reports for my big shows at the time, but didn't have this one...  didn't know that the website dumps the details after awhile! Is that a newer thing? I thought I remembered that Square saved all transaction info, but then, I've been on Square since it started, and things may have changed.

@LJDes

if you just want to see the Report you could change the date to the Month you hve in Question too and print a PDF.

In the upper right is the date range.... When you click there you can choose Day week etc..... But at the Bottom of this you can select whatever date range you like...

I just found it was easier to export this all to an excel file and use pivot tables and filters there to get the information quicker.   I always forget about the Select date range at the bottom and just usually selec this month  last month or this yr last yr etc from the reports.
