I am having trouble connecting to my new website due to this message that keeps coming up:
www.biosynergybloodlabs.com uses an unsupported protocol.
Hi @mark42, welcome to the Square Community!
Just a quick heads-up — you’ve landed on the Australia Community pages. No worries though — we’re still happy to help! 😊 If you’re based in the UK and would like to explore more local threads or connect with other UK Sellers, feel free to check out the UK Community.
Now, regarding the website you linked: I was able to load it without any issues on my end. If your domain is hosted with Square, SSL is automatically enabled the first time you publish your site. For third-party domains, the SSL certificate can take up to 24–48 hours to fully configure after linking, that might explain what was happening in this case.
If there’s anything else I’ve missed or if the issue persists, just let me know, I’m happy to take a closer look!

Hi mark42,
I am having the exact same issue and my website is down for the second day today. Did it resolve after 48 hours for your case?
Thanks,
Tito
I am just updating that Square support has this solved. The troubleshooting revolves around unpublishing and republishing website, checking DNS records and propagation time, and lastly which was the fix is the SSL push attempted by the support agent. It worked immediately. I assume in this case that the certificate expired and needed to be renewed by Square. However, I wish that it was resolved without changing the DNS records that takes 48 hours to propagate. Essentially, I lost the 48 hours I can't take back from being on the internet.
At the end, thanks to support. My website is up and running now.
Cheers!
