Sorry to hear you're having trouble activating your account.

 

Please take a look at @Joe's troubleshooting steps. I would also verify that you're in a country or location that we have card processing available. Take a look here to see where we have card processing.

my site seems to be published, but the "activate account" button just keeps taking me to the oops page. Also no taxes seem to be being added to my checkout anywhere. I dont know if these issues are related but I need help PLEASE. 

P.S. also not sure why it published w/out the activate section allowing access

Hello, I was reading all responses to this issue - having trouble activating the account, and none of the answers solves our issue. We entered all information correctly, but it still cannot verify. Have done it twice, and it says there is a limited amount of tries, so we are worried to try again, without speaking to someone. Unfortunately, Square does not have a very good customer or customer to be support. When I call the number, it asks for the code, but then it turns out that the code is given only to the fully activated sellers, which I am not. What do we do in this situation? I emailed, waiting for the response now, I read this community thread, and writing here...Please help, and don't send us to troubleshoot page, as we checked that already, we ARE providing CORRECR info, but it is not working, and square does not support not fully activated sellers.? It sounds like you may have already seen this page, but it is the best resource for your situation. We recommend very closely reading through this page, and verifying the information input during signup before using it - this may mean contacting outside sources to ensure you are using the correct mailing address, etc.

How do I get my account reactivated?

I set up a new one but I can't change the email address

I have tried all the steps listed in the "troubleshooting steps" guide linked above and nothing has worked for me. I have already sent over 3 emails in 24hrs and still no reply, no phone number to call. It's really frustrating, PLEASE I NEED SOME HEEEEEELLLLLPPPPP!!!

Are you trying to verify via a computer or through an app on your phone? I was having the same issue. Would not validate on computer...i tried it on my phone and it worked 1st time.

I have the same issue. When I selected the troubleshooting steps link it says: Square is unable to approve your request

How can I become verified to accept credit card payments it will not let me?

I have tried multiple times to get my account verified but for some reason, nothing is working. Please help.

I'd recommend trying @Joe 's troubleshooting steps listed above.

 

Those typically help but if not there isn't much we can do to assist with the identity verification process.

Retry for vertification

So I put all my info correctly on the vertification and it was saying I typed in something wrong and failed my vertification.

Is there any way to try again?
