Can discounts and gift cards be redeemed in Square Appointments?

Is there a way to accept gift cards, or use discount codes when making appointments?

We are creating an escape room and creating items to sell in a shop format, and then requiring the client to call us to use the booking they just bought, doesn't make sense.

Hi @PrincipalEscape 👋 thanks for your post! 

Square Appointments doesn’t currently offer the ability for clients to enter a promo or coupon code when booking online.

In the meantime, you can still create discounts that can be applied when checking out with the Square Point of Sale app. 

The same rules apply for redeeming e-gift cards.
