Hi all,
My first verification failed because Square had an issue at their end, this then has left a 1 day gap between an event I'm doing and the expected verification date.
So.... I need to take payments tomorrow at an event, can I still take payments from cards and then when it's verified, the money will get transferred? I did a test payment and it's taking money from cards - I'me just not seeing it at my end.
Bit angry that this issue is leaving me in this position now. 😞

I believe you should be in luck here... You should be able to take payments without a card connected - I think - hoever you won't be able to get a payout until you have connected and verified a card : )

I’m sorry to hear that your bank account wasn’t verified on time for your event.
When you first sign up, a bank account has to be successfully linked and verified in order to activate your Square account for card processing. The verification process can take up to 4 working days to complete depending on the bank.
You can check the verification status from your Square Dashboard directly. Once the verification process is complete, you should be able to accept card payments, and your balance is transferred to your bank account as per the standard transfer schedule.

Did you manage to do this? I have the same issue and need to use the card payment tomorrow but first account failed. Will the money go into the app and then transfer once it’s verified?
Hi @Tashamcs, I'm sorry to hear that. Funds are sent when the bank account is fully verified. Bank verification process can take up to 4 business days. Here is more information in our Support Centre.
