I thought I already asked this earlier today but now I can't find it, so I apologize if this is a duplicate.
I am doing a lot of craft fairs the end of the year and some of them have iffy wi-fi. I use my IPAD to cash out customers and my Square Terminal for their payments. I want to take offline payments but not sure I can do it how I have it set up. Is it possible and if so how or do I have to process everything thru my terminal and disconnect from my iPad?

Are you using your Square Terminal "remotely" connected to your IPad to process the payments, or are you running two instances of the POS (one on each device)?
I belive that you are using your Terminal linked wirelessly to your IPad. If so, you would need to either add a 2nd POS device to your account, or you will need to deactivate your IPad device from your account, and then assign the Terminal with a new device code. The issue here though would be that if the wi-fi is problematic, you might have trouble completing that process.
The easy solution obviously would be to process all the purchases on the Ipad and set the Ipad and Terminal to allow offline payments.
I hope that explains it, assuming I understand how you are doing it currently.
