Can I setup price limits for an item ?

I have an item defined in my items list that can be sold in the point of sale app. This item must be entered a price at the moment of the sale depending in various conditions set by the sales person but not to exceed a 25.00 dls limit.

Is there a way of leaving the price field open in the definition of the item but set a limit for the amount that can be charged (25.00 dls) ?

One of the sales persons mistakenly entered 250.00 dls instead of 25.00 and charged the customer. I would like to avoid these mistakes.

Hi Wildcatlaundry,

What you have in mind is not an option or feature that's available from my experience.  For example, many of my items are one of a kind and I have everything setup that I fill in the price at checkout however, there's no features or options that can limit the amount I enter.  From past experience, I do know that something like this can be done with a custom script however, that's a bit beyond the scope of this Community and would most likely require the assistance of a Developer.
