Can I please have some support with delivery and pickup service regarding scheduling times

Hi,

 

I am trying to set up a delivery/pickup service. There is an option for customers to choose times they would like to come pickup or get the item delivered. However, there is some blockages with this option and I would like to see if I can get some help with the following: 

 

  1. I have selected the scheduling option so customers can choose a time to pick up or get the item delivered. Is there a way I can remove the "as soon as possible" option - as this does not allow customers to choose a pickup/delivery time.
  2. Is there a way that I can change the option - "limit the amount of orders that can be picked up and delivered that the same time" - to have different limit times available. At the moment you can only have 15 minutes. If I am delivering something, I will need to make the gap at least 1 hour.
  3. Is there a possibility of getting a calendar/booking timetable system available so customers can have a visual of ; what times have been booked in (blocked out) for pickup or delivery from other customers, and what options are available to them?

1. This is feedback I've heard frequently over the past few months and continue passing it on to our eCommerce team. No ETA on changes here but I do hope it's something we can improve in the future.

 

2. Not at the moment unfortunately, however you shouldn't need to factor delivery time into order limited - it's managed separately:

 

 

 

3. To be honest, probably not in the near future. Our eCommerce team is currently working hard on bringing a lot of new features to Square Online and improving existing ones. With that said, I've not heard a lot of feedback about this particular request. Delivery/pickup times can be selected in a list based on what's available from the checkout page:

While I can't say for sure what will or won't change in the future, I'd say it's more likely that we will improve this option by making it more visible earlier in the online shopping flow (eg in cart), rather than build a calendar system for buyer to view.

 

With that said, I totally see the benefit of having this clarity available to your customers! I'll pass on the feedback to our eCommerce team!
