The title of this thread has been changed from: can I find a customers credit card number so I can complete a sale that didn’t go through?
I did a sale but the second sale I did with the same customer didn’t go through. Can Square tell me her credit card number so I can charge her for the 2 items that didn’t go through? I have no way to contact the customer so I can charge her for the other items.
Hi there @VintageWen - for the safety and privacy of your customers, full credit card information is not available. If a payment is not successful, there is not a way to charge the customer's card after-the-fact if you do not already have your customers Card on File.
If you do not have a way to contact the customer, and do not already have the customer's payment information in your system, there will not be a way to charge this customer's card.
