Buffer space above Order Tickets

We had a hardware issue with our printer.  After deleting the printer station and getting the printer back online we now have a new issue.  When the Order Tickets are printed they no linger have a buffer space at the top of the slip like they used to.   This is an issue because the new slips are to short and too much information "disappears" when we we place them on our expo rail.

Hello @RestorationCafe !

 

It sounds like there is a setting that got turned on for you: the Compact Tickets setting.

 

On your Point of Sale: More -> Settings -> Hardware and choose the troublesome printer.

Edit the Printer station, then tap on In-Person Order Tickets

Make sure Compact Tickets is turned off

Repeat for Online Order Tickets.

 

That should solve your issue. If not, I know that Square has been updating the printer controls recently: make sure you're on the latest App version and iOS version.
