Hello, I'm trying to add liquor items with modifications but I can't figure out how to add a mod that decreases the price.

Example if someone wants a shot of vodka instead of a mixed drink, I'd like the shot option to decrease the price instead of having an entirely new button labeled "vodka shot."

Since you are trying to lower the price, you may want to add a $ discount from the sale of the Mixed drink.  So in the Checkout you would have a Shot discount and then you could use it for any type of shot..... not just Vodka.  You could also make the 'Shot' Discount by a % instead of the dollar amount.
