Are rewards redeemable more than once or are they redeemable only one time?

I have been looking for articles about this but I can't seem to find a clarification. We newly set up our loyalty program and I have had this question since. Are the rewards we set up redeemable more than once per customer as long as the criteria are met?

For example, we have a reward that gives a customer $5 off their purchase when they join as a rewards member (so the point threshold is 1 point). So does this mean that they have $5 off their purchase every time they gain a point? Or does it mean that they get the single reward of $5 off once they hit the 1 point threshold for the year?

Hi @QueenBee25

Each reward that is earned is marked as redeemed once it has been redeemed.

If you give a special reward of $5 when somebody joins the loyalty program then when they use that $5 it's done.

Then once they are in the loyalty program they can earn additional rewards depending on how you have your system set up.

For instance you might offer one point for every $10 spent and then give them a $5 reward once they get to 10 points ($100 spent).

This is just an example, however, once they then redeem that $5 reward they start over earning points.

You can also set up your loyalty program to send out a reward coupon to those who haven't visited in a while. The system will automatically send those out.

When a customer is in your shop making a purchase, you can view what rewards they have available and then hit the redeem button next to the reward that you would like to apply.

And then again once a reward is redeemed it is completed and not able to be redeemed again.
