Hi! I would like to set appointment reminders for 48 hours in advance, but every time I try to choose anything more than 24 hours, it says “invalid time selection, reminders must occur before reminders are scheduled to send” and won’t let me do it. Help please!
Hi @Jcrutch86. The solution I’m going to give you makes absolutely no sense, but it works!
Go to your online Dashboard. Then go to Appointments -> Settings -> Communications. The setting you want to change is there - “Send my customers and email reminder.” Change it to 2 days prior to appointment and save your changes.
Force quit your Appointments App and the change should show there now, too.
As for that message, I’ve read it a dozen times. Yes, those are all English words. But I’ve never seen a sentence that made less sense, or was less helpful, than that one! Hopefully the Customer Success Team sees my reply and not only files a but report for the fact you can’t change this setting to more than 24 hours in the app, BUT also because that message needs to be seriously translated to something that makes even a little sense!
