Appointents on GooglePlay not available in Australia...those who use it, does it work for you?

GooglePlay says no to appointments for download in Australia...**bleep**!!

So i contact square on [email protected] to get an auto reply saying they cant reply to it...yeah great support Square.  And there isn't any way to directly contact them for live support unless i completely missed it??  Great help articles but fails on submitting a tech question...

Hey Solveit,

Thanks for getting in touch.

We don't have an exact ETA to share, however the Appointments app for Android is coming soon. In the meantime you can also manage Appointments via your online dashboard.

Can you let me know a little more about where you emailed to have received that message? You should be able to contact our support team via email without issue via this form or call on 1800 760 137. Lines are open Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm Melbourne time 👍

Hi Seamus...I initially sent an email to [email protected] as per the email address on Google play. I received an automated reply from [email protected]

Saying

Thanks for reaching out!

We aren’t able to respond to emails sent to this address.

So I went to the support center and flipped thru all the help faq on appointments and had no luck. And then I went to contact us...pointed me back to the faqs. So I then stumbled across this forum link and gave up trying to find a simple email help contact like [email protected] (I made that email up btw)  and here we are with an answer at last. A bit of a windy road to follow but we're here.

I might suggest however, to at least put a monitored email address on Google play so that an answer can be emailed back to the customer/downloader cos I must say my initial response to 'we can't respond to emails sent to this address' was  'why the hell put it on there?"

Logic is screaming to me to have any ttbing customer facing to be monitored and repliable (that's my word, lol)  so that this path to getting a response is faster and simpler.   Just a suggestion from someone who's worked on help desk for years in government monitoring help inboxes. We had some not monitored and got the ire of just about everyone. So we changed it and the response went ton100% positive within a week.

Hey again @Solveit,

I've filed a request with our team to get this changed - I'll let you know once it's been fixed.

Thank you for alerting us to this - we certainly want the email address on our app listing to reach us!
