Apple & Google Pay for online payments in Australia

We use Square Australia's API to process online payments on our custom website.

I'd like to implement Google Pay & Apple Pay so customers can pay with 'one click'. 

Is this possible in AU?

From here: https://developer.squareup.com/docs/payment-form/add-digital-wallets/google-pay it looks like $AUD is not supported, but wanted to double check.

Correct - from what I understand unfortunately Apple/Google pay is not currently supported for Australian Square accounts using out payments API.

I've not heard any news as to whether this is in the works or not, you may have better luck asking at our developer forums.
