Is anybody else having issues with Square Register POS? Since the most recent OS update, the POS freezes between transactions or when you turn it on. I have multiple business locations with the same problem.
I spoke to Square Support and I have been told their engineers are working on a solution with the next OS update. This is urgent, it needs to be attended to immediately.

We are aware of an issue occurring with our register and our engineering team is working hard to find a resolution as soon as possible. They are working on releasing an update so keep an eye out for a software update on your Register being released soon.
In the meantime, we recommend doing a factory reset on your Register. Don’t worry: resetting your device will not erase important account settings like items, transaction histories, customer lists, or employee permissions. It will all be there when you sign back in. Before resetting your Register, please have the following information on hand since you’ll need it to log back in afterwards:
