Adding a percentage (tax) and custom fields to an individual invoice

I used to be able to add a percentage of the total of an invoice in the tax area.  I am a dressmaker and used to add 10% to the total invoice for haberdashery.  This appears to be no longer available.  I dont want to add it to every invoice,

Also are you going to bring back the custom fields for invoices.  I did use it every invoice to let customers know there orders were ready to pick up.

What you're describing here sounds similar to a surcharge feature, which is something we've seen a lot of requests for and may see coming in the future - but this hasn't been available in the past. I don't suppose you can screenshot a portion of an old invoice with the charge listed? I can have a look and see what it might be. Make sure you block out any customer details on the invoice before posting.

You can add custom taxes, and apply them to items which you may be able to use as a workaround. You can also manually calculate an additional charge and add it to an Invoice as a custom amount.

Custom fields for invoices were always a limited-time trial feature (we did have a note here under the feature originally!), as we tested and trialed a few new Invoices features in the last year that were set to become part of the Square Invoices Plus product. Invoices Plus has since released, which is a more feature-rich, subscription based application.
