Add multiple items to grid at once? Categories different in POS and Square Store?

Hi, my business set up an online square store before getting a POS, but I’m having trouble finding basic functions when setting up my categories and item grids on the POS. 

Under checkout, I have a page for my general cash register items (tops, pants, etc) but I also want to be able to select items from my online store for in person checkout very easily. So I created another page at checkout and labeled it online store items, but here’s the issue:  I want to either add a category like necklaces and put all of the individual online necklaces in it, or add each necklace item individually but be able do it a batch edit, selecting multiple necklaces at a time to fill the grid. 
How can I do this?

The categories I have in my online store aren’t accessible as the same ones I have under my categories in POS. Where is the disconnect?

@pessosices you might be better to handle this as I don't cross streams of online sales and in-store sales.  I'm not even sure you can sell an online item in-store.

Ok so, you can totally sell online items in store, and vice versa. In fact, if you use square sync, there wouldn’t even necessarily be a distinction between online and in store items. They can be the same items, or if you have them configured differently then you can do both. 

For your category issues, there is a newer option to copy over square categories to Square Online — but otherwise, yes, the categories from POS aren’t directly connected to Square Online. 

Now back to your grid making — once you set up those categories, you can definitely make a button on the grid for each category. 

But yes, as of now there’s no way to bulk add things to your grid, you do have to go in item by item to put them in.
