Account Review: Not receiving emails

Hi,

 

My account is everything week 4 of being under review and it's now beyond a joke. 

I received the original email asking for "ID requirements" but the email had no links to click on to. 

I sent an email to square with my ID to which they replie "We don't accept emailed copies" and to follow the link on the email. 

Call 1: saw me on hold for over 40 mins just to be told that I'll receive an email.

No email received

Call 2: another 30 mins on the phone and was told they are following up on their end and to call back following Monday. 

Call 3: No follow up work done, just told to wait for the email. 

Call 4: was rushed off the phone and told that I'm not receiving emails due to MY email provider blocking then and to follow a check list to add them to trusted contacts. 

EVERYTHING IS ALL OK ON MY END.... 

I'm at a loss as to where to go to from here... 

Any pointers please?

I quickly checked your case history, and it seems you recently chatted with Kaila from our AU Support Team. She shared some troubleshooting steps to help you with the email issue on your end.

Here's the twist – our records show that the emails are leaving our server just fine, but they seem to be hitting a roadblock on the receiving side.

Could you confirm if you've tried these steps:

1. First, check your spam folder or any email filters and make sure to add [email protected] to your contact list.

2. Also, be sure to whitelist these Square domains: @squareup.com, @messaging.squareup.com, and @communications.squareup.com.

If that doesn't do the trick, you can still respond to our info request by logging into your online Square Dashboard and hitting "Get started" next to the alert icon in the top right.

Just to clarify, our team has successfully verified your identity, and you're good to go for card processing. Right now, we've sent a request for some more info about your business and how you handle payments. Once you send us those answers online, our team will be able to complete the review in just 1-2 business days. 😊
