Accidentally made cash sale while learning...

I accidentally made a cash sale while learning and it is showing up in reports. how do I delete it and create a clean slate again?

Hey @Compliant,

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the community! 

At the moment it's not possible to delete transactions made via Square, however you can refund them to balance out your books. For more info on doing this please check out the guide here.

I didn't transfer anything so I will just let book keeper know and write it off cheers for the reply

@Compliant note that a cash refund will not withdraw any money and send it anywhere - you're just marking the transaction as refunded!

In a real life scenario for a cash refund it's assumed that you'd be giving a customer cash in hand, which you won't be  - so I still recommend refunding this transaction as a good way to balance your sales data out 👍
