404 page on digital product

I am setting up a website with items that are sold as a digital download. In the online dashboard I changed the item type to digital. When previewing the website to check for bugs the category with the digital products shows the thumbnail for the products, but when I click on one it send me to a 404 error page, is it because I'm in preview or do I need to have some sort of landing page for digital products. I do not want to publish the site until these are fixed.

Thanks @Goldneye , I don't think I did anything with the variation. IDK if that's pertinent, but I'll check.

 

@isabelle I will check the link mentioned and if it doesn't work will add the URL for additional help. I use Chrome already so that's a plus. Thank you.

What is your URL? Perhaps @Goldneye and myself can look into this. 

 

I would also suggest using the browser Google Chrome when making any edits to your Square Online site.

Well, guys I don't know what happened but it's fine. I had to change the product type in the Online editor. Mark it as tax exempt. (It was setup as that in the items tab) Then save.

I had open it again to mark it as visible, I could not mark it as anything when I changed the product type. So it was a two step process, but it is showing now on the live site. I don't know what it would have done in the preview.
