4 red lights flashing

Hi all, needing some help. When I first set up the square, I was able to pair it and connect. Somewhere along the line, four red lights have been flashing. I've tried putting it on charge, turning off my phone, doing a hard reset, etc. Holding down the button does nothing - the flashing just keeps going and has for hours. Neither me nor my partner can figure this out. Any help would be super appreciated!

Sorry to hear about the trouble with your Square Reader! When you push the button on your reader briefly, do you see a single green light turn on? The reader also has some orange lights, that will flash to indicate that it's ready to pair via the Settings in your Square app. The bright red flashing would indicate that the reader is going through a re-set. Let us know whether the lights are orange, or red for you when you have a moment to test it out again!
