In category sales reports in Square for retail, the same category is listed twice separately. But there is only a single category created.
That sounds off, as when I look at my reports in Square through the Dashboard my Categories do not repeat. Do you have a screen shot of the report and which report or the steps to get the report your referencing? Square has Many reports, some based on Sales, some by Vendors, some by Items. So if you do this by Items report the category may show up multiple times since you sort may be by top items. So if inside a Category the items are top and Bottom sellers this could be a reason why. The biggest problem is knowing which Report your looking at to help you understand why this is happening. Screen Shots help the best, and also which device you are viewing the report on. Each device shows a little differently.
