split payments??

Customer wants to pay his £100 bill £40 cash and £60 on card, tried using the split payment function on the register but can't get it to work... should be simple, what am I missing?

Hey @60minuteman this is one of those that's super simple when you know! 

Just put the cash payment in first, so record £40 cash then the remaining £60 will still show as due and you can process as a card transaction. 

There's no way to do it the other way around selecting how much to put on a card and see what's left.

That doesn’t work, what i have found is 1. Split amout and input first split amount, 2. Select cash and input split amount again, 3. Pay remainder on contactless… poor system but all that works
