Can you give more details? What software are you using? (Square POS, Square for Retail, Square for restaurants) on what hardware? (iPhone, Android, Square Register, Square Terminal, Square Stand with iPad)
I just tried in Square POS on my iPhone and searching in the library tab worked just fine And searching in Terms/Categories worked too.
