art club sales with sales tax and commissions

I am helping setup our club art sales in square.   We have some set parameters I am trying to sort out in square.   The club collects sales tax and charges the artist selling a club commission.   The art is supplied by the individual artists.   At the end of the show a report would to be generated for each individual artist showing, items sold, total sales, sales tax charged and club commission charged.   The individual artists are responsibe for paying their own sales tax.   Payroll feature would not be used.  The art would be as inventory by individual should that be by category or contractor?

You have a good wish list for sure but, what you have in mind would probably require some custom programming by a Developer.  Unfortunately Square is not a one size fits solution so sometimes custom programming is your only option unless there's a 3rd party service or app out there.   Square does have a Developer Forum just in case you want to do some looking around.

Another thought is look into the possible use of consignment software and check out some of comments and suggestions from this past post - there's a few interesting ideas that were discussed.

For a low budget art club that is not feasible.   Square seems to be a good money collector but little else.   I found a half way work around with discount and service fee.   But the service fee cannot be applied automatically which will be forgotten.   There are a lot of shops selling on consignment square is not catching on to the need.
