Why do we now have to take off Tracking and put it back on in order to change the quantity on hand.

In order to change the quantity on hand for a product, you must now take off "Tracking" and then put it back on in order to change the quantity on hand.  You must still choose a reason so I don't get why.

I just tested it out in my point of sale application. I also tested on my dashboard, and did not have to turn off tracking in order to update quantity. 

 

This sounds like it might be a account specific issue that support will need to take a further look into. In the meantime please checkout these app troubleshooting steps . If you are using dashboard to update stock you can try these dashboard troubleshoot steps as well
