Why can’t they make invoice payments in store through the regular register using any payment method?

We often attempt to use invoices to get down payments for special orders but It can not be processed in store. I have to email invoice and take payment through off site card when they are right there in my store often with cash in hand. I know this may not be it’s intended use but it is so close to working for my purpose. It just needs in store partial payment options for all the regular types of payment.

In-app, tap Invoices from the menu and select the invoice. Scroll down and tap Add Payment > Other amount. Hit Next after you've entered the amount then complete payment by selecting any payment option.
