why can i no longer turn tickets into invoices? i am reading the only way is to manually enter the ticket info into a new invoice that will cause hours of work for no reason
Hi there, @maplebrook,
I completely understand why this is frustrating, especially if converting tickets to invoices has been part of your normal workflow. Discovering that it’s no longer available and being told to manually recreate invoices would feel overwhelming for anyone, particularly when it could mean hours of extra work. You’re correct that Square no longer supports directly converting tickets into invoices. This change was made as part of updates to how tickets, invoices, and orders are handled across the platform. I know that doesn’t make the impact any easier, especially if this feature was critical to how you manage your business. All of these features are now under Square House Accounts, do you already have this set up?
That is unfortunate I will be looking for a new pos
No offense, but this is total BS. This one payment type has been removed from tickets, but can still be chosen as a payment type from a new sale. Seems like a programming error.
Using House Account produces a totally inadequate invoice - customer has no idea what they are being charged for. And it screws up bookkeeping
If this change was deliberate, then Square is clueless as to how business use their software.
THIS IS HORRIBLE!
