View Stock History is not matching with Transactions

The Stock History field is not updating to reflect transactions made. It's showing the items received, but none sold even though we know they've been sold, and then Transactions actually shows the sales. Anybody else have this problem. It started with random products about a month ago.

That is very strange! 

How long after the transaction was processed did you check the Stock history?

If you could send screenshot of an example, that would be really helpful.

I do have screenshots that explain the situation pretty clearly, but I don't see away to add attachments to this chat.

Essentially, the store sold 12 bottles of an item in a given time period. However, in Inventory Management, the sales do not register, and the inventory count did not move. On View Stock History it shows the bottles being received but nothing sold. If I run an History on Inventory Management and select Sold as the Adjustment Type for this given time period, the result is “No Inventory Activity Found.” But then when I enter the same time period in the Transactions function, for the same time period, I see the transactions of sales of all 12 items. So the Inventory Management function is not matching with the Transactions function.

...sorry, some typos there: "a way", not "away". And in the penultimate sentence, 12 units of the item, not 12 items.
