I own two restaurants. One using "Square for Restaurants" and another using "Square POS".
I am rather literate in both systems and programming yet occasionally have some good questions that I need answers to. Lately I am dealing with chat reps that...
1. Take a long time to answer basic questions (as if they are researching answers themselves)
2. Receiving vague answers and incorrect solutions
3. At times, receiving dangerous information (hail Mary guesses from reps) that could have interrupted service for one of my restaurants.
Are you finding faster and better solutions and answers here on the community or elsewhere? If so, where and/or tell me about your solution finds.

What I have found is support gives you the by the Book ways for things to work, where as this forum, sees the issue at hand and finds away to make what Square gives you to work.
Example :
Square Reports:
In Square reports you can get Category Sales, and you see the top 5 for example. But you want the top 10.
The chat reps or Support, works for Square, they are most likely going off the problem, look at Square Suggested solutions. Where as in the Forum other business owners may have come accross your issue and tell you what they may do in square or with other programs to get around some limits in Square. This is why the forum in my opinion is better. Nothing in business is black and white for example and we in the forums use alot of the Grey areas for issues (work arounds).
