Unable to Process Return to gift card

Using Square for Retail and just tried to refund a return to a square gift card.  We keep getting "unable to process" error.  Anyone else having this issue or know a fix?

HI @dwb !   I also have Square For Retail but am NOT seeing this issue.   In thinking about this, can you provide us more information, such as;

• Do you have the card or card number?
• Can you check the balance of the card?
• What does the original transaction refund options say?
• When exactly are you seeing the error and/or how are you creating the error?

I'm hoping with more information we might be able to get a better idea of what's going on.
