Our business currently sells tickets for concerts at two price points: Adult $20 and Youth $15. We achieve this by creating a product with two variations. Our venue can hold 150 people, and we want to cap the maximum number of sold tickets at 150. Currently, the stock tracking tracks for each variation rather than the item as a whole (understandable, but there is no other option).
My goal is to sell the adult and youth tickets using a combined inventory of 150, rather than a separate inventory count.
Also, we sell our tickets on Woocommerce, which allows us to sell our variations using a combined inventory system; Square doesn't recognize this.

Currently the only way I would know how to do this is with Bundles. Yes I know this sounds weird because you are only selling 1 ticket, but are also using 1 Seat for selling the ticket. You will need to create Items for the Adult and Child Tickets and also for a Seat.
Create Bundles
1 Bundle is Adult Ticket of 1 ticket and also uses 1 Seat... You can sell this Bundle for $20
Also Create a Bundle for 1 Kids Ticket selling 1 Ticket and 1 Seat for $15.
You will be able to sell either tick until a resource is all used up.... meaning all 150 seats.

Thank you for your input and for stepping in to help the other seller! Suggesting bundles be used that way is helpful.
I always appreciate your insight. Have a great weekend! 👋
It's a neat way of making do with what's available. However, creating a new product per concert date becomes cumbersome.
While it would work, sadly, it still doesn't allow for a seamless sync on WooCommerce. Square clearly lacks an important feature.
Hmm, that's an interesting way of doing it.
How well does that translate for syncing with Woocommerce?
I have no idea how it Translates to Woocommerce as I am just another Square user who did not ever use Woocommerce. I am guessing that if you would create the Bundle and give it a SKU it should work like anyother item in Woocommerce.
Does this help?
Let me know if you need anything else @kcoombes0 😊
