We have always had catering under a service item with variable pricing, it has somehow disappeared from the pos screen making it no longer an option yet it is still listed on our pc but cant find it in the pos to use it, kinda mystifying since it always worked,

A few things from me to help us get to the bottom of it:
1. Check on your Square Dashboard to ensure the item is still listed as available at the location you are logged into on your point of sale device. Additionally, scroll down to the "Where it's sold" section and make sure "Points of sale" is toggled ON.
2. On your device, if you've previously set up an item Favourites screen, check that setup to ensure the item wasn't accidentally removed. To do this, follow the steps in this guide.
3. If you've confirmed the settings above are correct, try signing out and back into your account on the app to see if that resolves any syncing issues. If that doesn't help, check the App Store to see if there's a pending update for Square Point of Sale and install it.

none of these options are working, before the system updated last week it was working fine, now its a limbo item but vital to my needs
