Search function no longer shows SKU in results on Square Register with Retail POS

We just noticed that the results of a search no longer show the SKU number - making it impossible to tell if you are picking the right one!  Attaching two screen shots - a before and after comparison.  Anyone have a solution??

I've escalated this to the Square for Retail Team for their review. I'll be sure to follow up with you here, once I receive a response from them.

I have 3 ideas that may help you to you get the SKU fixed when selecting an item:

1. In your Items where you have Variation 1 change the name to the SKU 
2. Add a Picture to each Variation instead of just the default TW image
3. Use Barcodes for the items to scan each item at the point of sale.
4. If you have a SKU formula you could search for the SKU  Instead of searching for  PWW TD search for TWPDE for example

For me for the Variation I have both an Image of the Item and something to let me know I choose the correct one if the barcode fell off.

So my item might be 

Scent of Candle  Lilac for example and then the Variations are the size or container the candle is in  16oz for example

Here is an image how my Item Lilac looks with Variations   Yes some are duplicated because I used easy SKU before knowing Square could create an SKU easily.

You could edit the Variation Name like I have for 28oz, 28 oz and 150 which are all basically the same sized jars just different Jars.  But then I liked the 7 character codes Square creates to keep my barcode the same size instead of my custom sku codes.
