Greetings,
Today I went to settle a few tips and clicked the Save button by mistake. But since it said “Save” I figured that when I went back into the list the tips I entered would be there for me to settle. Nope! See attached video.
I will say that I did notice that if I repeated that process THEN the tips seemed to be saved, which was weird.

@JJ_ its not working on 6.38.1. I just noticed that 6.39.2 is available. I’ve closed for the day but I’ll download that and test it tomorrow when I have tips to settle. Stay tuned!
@JJ_ And yes on iPad. In a Stand 2, though that’s probably irrelevant.

Other than my test transaction today, I can’t possibly answer that. Mostly because it was a mistake when I first got the save button instead of the settle button. Here are screen shots of the test transaction I mentioned above.
I think it will definitely help clarify things to the engineers! I'll keep you posted in case they have further questions, but I think at this point they have plenty to work with. Hopefully this is a speedy process! 🤞

You have all but one point.
The first time I use the save button it says it is saving but it doesn’t.
The second time I use it ie doesn’t say it is saving but it does!

Thanks so much for your continued patience here. After a few back and forths with the product team, they concluded they were unable to replicate this. 😕
Is this still an ongoing issue for you?
@BernadetteA I have modified my procedures here slightly to get rid of paper. Customers are paying and tipping AFTER they have picked up their orders. So, maybe it’s still an issue and maybe it is not. But I have no way of knowing since we removed the need to settle tips manually in favor just having card customers pay/tip once their orders are completed to their satisfaction.
