It's not possible to remove the Cancel Payment option from the checkout screen. The reason is because if it were too be removed, you would have no way or backing out of or cancelling a payment in the event that a customer changed their mind (or some other reason). Instead, we recommend training your staff to recognize a successfully completed payment screen to avoid situations like the one you've described here. I hope this resource helps!
