Regular Item Price Doesnt Match Item Payment

We have an item with Regular price $55. However some transactions for this item in September 2025 were for $54. Looks like starting on September 17, the price on Square payments switched to $55.

See below for item regular price vs a payment, $55 vs $54, respectively.

Very odd. Also, is there a way to see the price history? Who/when an item price was changed?

Based on this item's transaction history, it appears the price was indeed updated from $54.00 to $55.00 sometime after September 17, 2025. Prior to this change, the price had consistently been $54.00 since the item was first sold in May 2021.

Square doesn't currently provide a way to view who updated an item's price or the exact date and time of the change. In this case, I'd recommend checking with your team members who have access for more information about this price adjustment.
