I am teaching a class and selling tickets via Facebook and Instagram. My website is managed by a vendor so it's complicated.
I'm teaching a class for a brewery. That brewery has two locations, the class will be taught in town A on Saturday from 1-3 and town B on Sunday from 1-3. Some may be paying for two people.
For marketing simplicity, I'd like to have one link on FB & IG for the consumer to purchase their ticket in advance. Seating is limited to 30 people per location. How do I achieve my goal effectively thinking of the consumer?
Hello YBF,
You're going to need two links if you plan to use "payment links". A payment link works like a Buy Now item button - there's no shopping cart so the function of payment links is different. Payment links are intended to sell one item and expedite the Checkout process. Note you're not limited to just one ticket so multiple tickets could be purchased for Town A or one event. You would need a second link to do the same thing for Town B. Just make sure your link description is clear so people know which event they are purchasing a ticket for. You also need to setup your items in Square with an inventory of 30.
Hey there, @YBF!
@JK_Fiber_Art is correct on needing two payment links for this situation if you have two different locations.
Here is a Support Article for some help with creating a payment link to sell classes or tickets.
