Orders pushed to next day (restaurant)

We are having a huge issue right now with Square overselling online orders for pickup, then moving the customer to the next day. I am guessing what happens is that multiple people are starting their order for food then one/several finish their order before the others do. By the time the remaining customers finish up their order and pay for it the maximum number of orders for that time frame are now gone so the system throws them to the next day. 

 

It's a problem. It's causing a lot of frustration on the customer end as well as resulting in quite a few refunds. 

 

Has anyone figured out a way to stop this from happening? I would think even after the system allows a customer to select a time for pickup, it should recheck that time is still available at the time of payment.

I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble with your online orders, @TerrorTacos

 

The ready time should update on the final checkout page before the customer places the order. Are you saying customers are ordering at the same time, and not realizing their order is placed for the following day?
