Having a problem with open tickets that was working but now either after an update, etc. is not.
I open a ticket on my POS (ipad) and start a tab, but go to pay with a square terminal and it shows no open tickets.
Anything? Thanks!
Hey @barpalmina, are you able to toggle on the "Early access POS Experience?"
From your Square Online Dashboard click Device Management > Devices > Select one of your existing devices
Click Manage next to Square for Restaurants underneath Assigned device profile
Click Early access POS experience and toggle it ON
💡 Once toggled on, you will see the above warning. Updating your POS will require restarting your app so we recommend that you don’t update during service.
Click the back arrow to adjust any other settings you wish to make
Any device settings that are not supported yet will be grayed out so you cannot configure them.
Click Save.
Restart your device.
You are not testing any beta versions of the restaurants software are you?
If you happen to be testing (I think the tabs might be one) then the open tickets will not sync except with the same version of the beta.

Thanks for flagging this. This is understandably frustrating, and I am happy to investigate this further.
As Donnie-M mentioned, are using a beta app? If not, what app version is the iPad and Terminal on?
Yes, it was the beta. I turned off the beta on the countertop and everything synced. But now have no access to pre-auth 😞
@barpalmina We are getting there. The most important thing is that all of the bugs are worked out. It will get there. The only other option would be to take the card/etc and pay at the register.
