As of today, we can't add items to tickets without going to the orders screen and opening the ticket beforehand.
We have always been able to just input the items, hit 'save ticket' and then select the ticket to add the items to.
When we hit 'save ticket' now, the app claims there are no open tickets - we can only save to a new ticket.
Has this been intentionally broken (sorry, 'a new feature') or is it likely to be fixed soon?

Hello @TapSelectBar and welcome back to the Square Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having some trouble with adding items to your Open Tickets.
It looks like you're using Android tablets. An update to Square Point of Sale was recently released. The latest version of the app is 6.80. Could you please check the Google Play Store to make sure you have the latest version of the app on both devices? If your app is already up-to-date, please proceed with the troubleshooting steps listed here.
If the issue still isn't resolved after completing the troubleshooting, please let me know, and I can escalate this further.
