My pos system is telling me my printer is not compatible with the square retail system. I don’t know why.

Can you give me some more information about your set-up? Are you using Square for Retail on an iPad or the Square Register? What brand and model of printer do you have?
Can you share a screenshot of the error message? Did this set up work previously of have you recently tried to connect the two?
