Manual Order Not Printing on Stub

Good morning! I have manual Order number on and I input my order number. But then when the ticket stub prints all it says is "order" with no ticket number. For now we've been manually writing the table number on it, but just a few days ago it was printing the order number. 

Please help. Thank you!

Good morning! One thing I would check first is whether the printer template or ticket settings may have changed, because sometimes a small setting can affect what prints even when manual order numbers are still turned on. If it was printing correctly a few days ago and now only says “Order,” it may be worth reviewing the receipt/ticket formatting in your printer settings to make sure the order number field is still enabled.

 

If everything looks correct and it’s still happening, I’d recommend calling Square's customer support so they can look directly at your device settings and account setup. Their toll-free number is 1-855-700-6000 — they’re usually able to troubleshoot printer behavior pretty quickly.

Just want to also say that what you've described @CornerstoneCaf1 sounds like a known issue that our team has just released a fix for. 

 

If you are still encountering this issue, please try force-quitting the app and restart the device. Please also make sure that you're on the most up-to-date version of the Square app as well.

 

Let me know if you are still seeing the same problem even after following the steps above — I can definitely get our engineering team to look into this again.
