I am using Wix as an online order platform, and every item is precisely copy-and-paste from our onsite menu. The problem starts here. Even though modifiers (options) are available to our customers, not every modifier is meant to be applicable to every item. Servers know what can be added and must not be added, so they filter out modifiers when asked according to the kitchen policy. One day we activated the Wix platform and customers began ordering items with non-senses. And without a doubt, the kitchen got messed up, and it was hectic.
To make it short, Wix mirrors every detail of the Square Menu including modifiers, and that makes it problematic.
Is there a way you can deactivate the online modifier section without affecting the in-person Square app?
