Items in Library Aren't Appearing on Invoice

I have spent more than 2 hours trying to create a simple invoice but am encountering repeated issues. The most challenging is finding an item in inventory to add to the invoice. Most items can be accessed but several items cannot. I've reviewed the item set up to make sure that the location is correct, as well as inventory, pricing, etc. Finally, I gave up and created a one-time item. But this is far from ideal and not tracking inventory with the actual item in my inventory system. I have seen on the board that I am not the only user with this problem. Please assist!!

Hi @stuckeystop and thank you for your post. My name is Violet, and I'm one of the Square Community Moderators. I'm sorry that you've been having trouble setting up your Invoices.

As long as your items have been set up correctly, and assigned to the location where you're creating the Invoice, you should be able to add any existing items from your Library as line items on your Invoice. First, I'd suggest looking over your item settings, and compare an item that isn't appearing on your Invoices to one that is. Are there any differences between their setup in your Item Library when you click on the item? Additionally, when creating the Invoice, make sure you're signed into the correct location by checking the location name in the upper left, on the Invoice creation screen.

If this doesn't resolve the issue, I recommend contacting our Support Team, so they can investigate further, since I can't take a look at your inventory and settings via the Square Community.
