A default Item type "Membership" was added to Square Retail inventory automatically by Square (not us) and has caused problems with inventory reporting. How did this happen and how do we correct it without changing each item individually?

Here is my 2 cents how to change it quickly.
Open Square Items on the dashboard and change Type to the type you need. Remember this Item.
Download your Items Catalog
Open the Downloaded File with your preferred program.
Find Item you changed on your Dashboard.
Copy the Name in the Type field on your spreedsheet.
Then use Find and Replace.... Find Membership and replace With.... the term Square uses for type.
Then Replace All if you do not have a membership at all
Then save and upload this back to square.
