Is there a way to view completed ticket times?

I am looking for a way to view our kitchen ticket times.  I would like to see the time the ticket was placed, when it was completed, and finally when it was cashed out. I have downloaded the KDS system to a personal tablet to "play" around with it and see if we would like to incorporate it.  If we do fully incorporate it will we be able to see the all the ticket times I stated above?  Right now when I go to a closed ticket in the transactions tab, it only shows what time the ticket was closed.

Thank you,

Shimas Family Restaurant

Hello @Shimas !

Yes, once Square KDS is active, you'll get a new report called Kitchen Performance on your dashboard. There is a lot of information for you on that report, and you can get pretty granular with it too, all the way down to individual item time averages. Here's what that screen looks like:

times.jpg

The late percentage is based off of online orders. I was running a KioskBuddy kiosk at the time, and there wasn't a way to show those orders with pickup times: the KDS thought that all those orders were due immediately. *shrugs*

Overall, the KDS is very helpful for keeping tabs on your restaurant's flow.

I use this more than I thought I would!

Even though it's just me, it's so useful for managing my own performance.

Thank your for you answer.  I apologize I didn't thank you before now.  Side question, do you use Doordash or Grubhub? and do they integrate well into the KDS?

Thanks!
