Is there a way to see what User added an item to an order?

Hi there! We've just set up Square for Restaurants, and we have sort of a different set up. We're a resort with a bar. The majority of our orders at the bar are from our resort guests, so we open a check on their first night and continually add items to it throughout their stay. The check can stay open for 3 or so days at a time. 

 

I'm trying to figure out how to do server tips with this new system. Is there a way to see which server (User) added which items? Or if not, a way to see when items were added to the order?  

 

I know I can see the date/time an item was ordered in an open order on the POS system. But once the order is closed, is there a way to see when each item was added? 

 

It seems the "Team Sales" report under Sales Reports is not helpful. I'm guessing it attributes those sales to the server/User who opened/closed the order, rather than the server/User who added all the items? 

 

Any suggestions would be great!

Yes, @TRVTR! They just got back with me today.

 

It looks like we are currently in process of adding employee names and timestamps for sent/fired orders to Restaurants. It has not been applied yet, but should be available towards the end of July or early August of this year.

 

At this time, we do not have any workarounds for this, but I am assuming with this new update implemented this should resolve most of your issues you mentioned.

 

I hope this helps a bit. Please let me know if you end up having any other questions in the meantime.
